0.4: Delta Waves

So Listeners, Delta Waves is my 4th album and it was recorded at Blenheim studios, Norwich in late summer 2007. You will notice a familiar compositional method running through these pieces as I continue to purloin, paste and loop sound samples from around the world, from times gone by and from different sociological perspectives. This approach is then enhanced by adding my own special brand of acoustic and electric instrumentation, played by yours truly. The Instruments played on this album are, the accordion, my home made Theremin, the E flat tuba, The Korg MS20 vintage synth and various guitars.

A delta wave is a large, slow (2Hz or less) brain wave and is associated with deep sleep. Delta activity is absent in awake healthy adults and normal in awake children under the age of 13 and can be observed in cases of brain injury and people in comas. Have you ever though how our world leaders act like children or seem to be oblivious to what people really want/need, or appear brain dead?

They are riding the Delta Wave…Its time for them and us to WAKE UP!
